| “Take a look at a Lifetime Reel” |
|
|
| Step 1 |
One of the first stages in the process of creating a Lifetime Reel is gathering information about the person(s) we’re interviewing. This includes an initial meeting to talk about ideas for the film in such as, accomplishments, awards, and specific stories or elements we must capture. This is also a great time to get to know each other and prepare for the first day of filming. |
| Step 2 |
Next we present you with a questionnaire. Our questionnaire covers a broad spectrum of questions that take a person through different stages of their life. This is a time when you can add, delete, and edit the questions as you please. The questionnaire will then be given to the person(s) being filmed so they can be prepared to answer the questions. |
| Step 3 |
– After agreeing on a time and place for the interview to take place, we set up our gear and prepare to start filming. The interview on average takes around 1-2 hours and may need extra days to finish the interview. |
| Step 4 |
Now we begin the editing process. This is when we place photos, old videos, and music into the Lifetime Reel. We may need to meet with family members during this time to get feedback on picture placement and overall project feedback. We’ll then print the DVD’s and hand them out to the family members. |
